Banana Bay in Grand Bahama Island

Banana daiquiri that is all you need to know. Oh and I do not like bananas but loved it.

The best conch fritters I've had! We made it a mission to try conch fritters throughout the island, and this was, by far, the best. Friendly, warm staff. Service is great, understandable when it gets busy... for a good reason!

Lovely spot on the beach, they serve decent food but it's all about the location. Nice calm, shallow water that you can wade around in.

Wow! Fantastic conch fritters and crab cakes. Reasonable prices. Friendly and corteous service. Beautiful shady deck with a view of the most beautiful beach I have ever seen. This was part of our cruise excursion and the highlight of our trip!

I couldnt get enough of this place last year in August. Our fam friend Mr. Hayward introduced us to this beach. It is literally our paradise. Food was fresh. Crabcakes to die for and the best lemonade ever!!

Came here twice. Once for breakfast (which they don't have) but the good was still excellent. Right on the beach, with lots of patio seating. Would highly recommend.

This is a true piece of paradise! Blackened grouper awesome, pie a la mode simply delicious, and what an amazing beach.

Awesome service, awesome food and friendly staff. Nice beach front. They also have beach chairs for rent, 4$ per chair. Whenever we come back to Freeport we will definitely be back.

I truly enjoy this beach when the tide is low and I can walk out to the bead of sea grass along the sand bank. It is a must so when you visit Grand Bahama Island.

Very nice restaurant! The beach was quiet and not crowded. Came with a group of about 10 and we had drinks and food. Everything was good! I really enjoyed the guava daiquiri! Friendly staff, nice location and clean grounds. Came to visit on a cruise, this place is a 20 to 25 minute drive away.

Best beach on this end of the island!

Ate here on my honeymoon in 2011. I remember this place fondly. My biggest regret is not getting the conch fritters. Hopefully someday I can come back and try them!

Food was delicious! I had a grilled jerk chicken sandwhich with a side of cole slaw. And the beach view was gorgeous! Next time I'm packing my swimsuit to go for a dip.

The food was great the view was picturesque and just the environment was special. After eating go walk on out on the beach up to your knees about 100 yards out. A truly unique beach.

Nice little organised beach with food and drink available at reasonable prices. Service is good and many decent lunch options consisting of local specialities and several vegetarian options. Good for families, groups and solo travellers.

Foods and service was great especially the 100% homemade burgers. I ate mine with the bun and it was delicious. The frozen drinks are great to. The view from where ate.

Great views, food, and drink. If you are looking for a beach in Freeport this is it. Fortune beach is worth the drive! Banana Bay was the highlight of our Bahamas Cruise.

Beautiful long beach view, sunny breazy day. Good food and friendly people on nice sized deck eating area. I like to ride waves otherwise a great calm chill beach.

Give great directions and suggestions for our short stay on the island. They really helped us make the most of our trip ( bartender). Food was excellent. Service was not personable or personal ( waitress).
